Next-Generation CCTV – SmartGard.AI Platform

Our system-wide approach: multi-model AI, virtual patrols, and context-aware insights. Fewer false alarms, better decisions.

Next-Generation CCTV

Next-Generation CCTV with SmartGard.AI goes beyond isolated camera analytics. It interprets events across multiple feeds, applies intelligent scenarios, and delivers real-time insights – turning CCTV into a proactive decision-support tool.

What we mean by “Next-Generation CCTV”

This is a platform-level approach. SmartGard.AI interprets events across many feeds using intelligent scenarios and multi-model AI to provide context, not just alerts.

Where this stage fits in the CCTV journey

Step three. Move from camera-level detections to system-wide understanding and decision support.

Signs this stage fits your site

  • Multiple cameras/sites where context matters
  • You need fewer false alarms and actionable summaries
  • Security and operations want shared insights, not isolated alerts

Risks and constraints at this stage

  • Requires clear objectives and scenario design
  • Benefits depend on data quality and policy alignment
  • Change management for teams is important

How we support this stage (services we deliver)

  • Scenario design aligned to your risks and workflows
  • Virtual patrols and automated reporting
  • Multi-model AI configuration and evaluation
  • Integration with NVRs, IP Cameras, access control, and incident tools

Pathways and coexistence

SmartGard.AI extends your existing cameras and NVRs. It coexists with Essential and Enhanced layers, adding the context they lack.

FAQ

How is SmartGard.AI different from built-in camera AI?

Built-in AI runs per device and sees fragments. SmartGard.AI operates at the system level, correlating multiple feeds and events into context-aware scenarios and summaries.

Do we need to replace our VMS/NVR?

No. SmartGard.AI complements your existing VMS/NVR. It consumes device-generated events (e.g., ISAPI/SDK webhooks) and video streams where needed, then adds interpretation and reporting.

Does SmartGard.AI perform facial recognition or biometric ID?

No. We do not provide facial recognition or biometric identification features. Where cameras expose such events, we can neutralise or ignore them to stay compliant.

What about “perimeter tracking”?

SmartGard.AI does not implement its own perimeter tracking. If your cameras/NVR already emit perimeter or line-crossing events, we can ingest them and add context and routing.

Will you store our video?

By design we prefer metadata-first. We reference recordings in your VMS/NVR and store only the analytics/results needed for reports. Short, event-bound clips can be cached when explicitly required.

Data residency and encryption?

UK/EEA residency options. Data in transit is TLS-encrypted; at rest we use disk encryption and per-tenant keys. We align retention to your policy.

What exactly are “scenarios”?

Scenarios are rule sets that describe how to interpret events across cameras and systems.

Who writes and maintains scenarios?

We design initial scenarios during onboarding. You can maintain them via a guided UI, or we can manage them under a support plan with change control.
