Modern CCTV systems are expected to be available anywhere, anytime. Remote access allows you to view cameras, check recordings, and control your system even when you are away from the site. We set up secure access to your CCTV so you can monitor your business without exposing the system to unnecessary risks.
We provide two levels of remote access:
- Manufacturer mobile apps – for example, Hikvision’s Hik-Connect app. These applications allow you to view live streams, check recordings, receive motion alerts, and control basic features directly from your smartphone.
- SmartGard.AI platform – our own application that extends standard CCTV functions. It enables intelligent scenarios, virtual patrols, and automated reports, giving you much more than just remote viewing.

Is it safe to access CCTV remotely?
Yes. Both the Hikvision mobile app and the SmartGard.AI app connect securely to the system without exposing your network to the internet. The apps send data to the provider’s backend and then deliver it safely to your phone. This means no open ports are needed, which removes one of the biggest security risks.
What’s the difference between Hik-Connect and SmartGard.AI?
Hik-Connect offers standard live viewing and alerts. SmartGard.AI adds advanced features such as intelligent scenarios, system health monitoring, and security reports.
Will I get notifications if something happens?
Yes. Mobile apps can send instant push notifications when motion is detected, alarms are triggered, or cameras go offline.
Can multiple people access the cameras remotely?
